How to Add Lusers to your Ignore List

One of the coolest features of the web forum is the ability to add people to your ignore list. When a luser is added to your ignore list you never see their posts to any thread. It makes the forum much more enjoyable. No more wading through troll posts to get to the good information from good posters.


1. Click on the "profile" link at the top of this page, directly under the banner advertisment.

2. On that page click the link "edit ignore list".

3. Type in the names of the lusers you would like to ignore and hit the "update list" button.

There are only two slots, but more become available as you hit the "update list" button.

Why not just cover your eyes and chant "nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn".

"Luser" is a combination of "forum user" and "forum loser".

This forum is plauged with them, but the ignore feature makes it much nicer. They instantly disappear never to be heard from again.

Im trying to work out what sort of pansy needs to use an ignore feature on a messageboard.
I can understand it in a chat room or with an email address but what sort of imbecile would bother doing it on a messageboard?

I really think the ignore feature can help make this forum as popular as it once was. Many of the people who used to post here stopped because simply was no longer worth wading through all the BS to get to the good posts by Andre, Darren, Hawk, and others.

Now as soon as you see some lame crap about "so and so gracie is a faygo" or "ninja Hatsumi Sensei's testicle biting secrets" you can 86 that luser with extreme predjudice.

No more wading through the sewage. Very nice.
