Thumbs up

THIS is the best reason to have kids (other than to teach them BJJ to kick all the neighborhood kid's asses... lol)!

sit them in front of the tv to watch a home-made MP marathon, then the whole family can bounce lines off each other! great time passer and family bonder. (haha)

DD - that line is one of my daughter's favs. lol...!!! i "LMAO" evertime she says it.

You, like the people at a certain MA magazine, want to show off how cultured and knowledgeable you are by using the "correct" transliteration. The fact is Gracie/Brazilian (one "L") Jiu-jitsu is spelled how it is spelled. I find it annoying when some schmuck decides to come along and correct us. I find it even more annoying when a new member jumps in here and tries to change the tone of the forum. As if we all have to be a bunch of chi cultivating panty-wastes to be "real" martial artists.
Elam, pease do not put words in my mouth. I have questioned anyone as being a "real" martial artist or not nor would I ever do that. I am not a "show off" and I am not the person you are trying to portray me as.

Listen. I don't want to make enemies, I want to make friends. I still don't know why you are so intent on attacking me but I consider myself a man of dignity and integrity and I am willing to bury the hatchet if you are. We are all fellow martial artists here after all. What do you say?

Tracy, these guys are just busting your balls.
Dont take them seriously.
Just using the name Karate in your user name is going to start alot of sillyness on this forum.
As you can see. Most of the replys on this thread have been jokes.
That's cause alot of us just get on here to B.S.
A few technique questions once in a while, but most know how little you get from instruction online.Other than a few pointers ,you cant relate too much without being physically present.
So,knowing that.Just jump in and have fun.Peace.Danny Boy.

Dan, I don't have to make apologies for anything be it my name, my training, or anything else I am attacked for. Nor will I stoop to that level. A martial artist more than anyone else should have an open mind. I train hard like anyone else here. But just because I don't train in the "Brazillian" brand of jujutsu I am the target of hate messages. It is extremely unfair but I won't let it get to me.

Why?

Why don't you stick your mystic, martial arts dogma where the sun don't shine. We're all about fighting here, we respect fighters. We don't respect white to black belt in 18 month karate pussies that fixate on phoney crap handed down from their dildo instructor at the local mall.

Now, if you want to grab our attention please post some nudy pics. I bet you have a real nice rack and a firm butt from all those Katas. Come to Daddy Aloha.

I have re-read my post twice,I dont see anywhere that I said you should appologize for anything.I was just saying not to take the slamming to personal. It's like a bad fraternity. The initiation sucks, and the club is not what you hoped for.But you keep coming back cause they have warped your mind.

Many WELL RESPECTED publications including Black Belt Magazine consistently use the spelling "jujutsu", even when referring to the Brazilian style. What do you have to say about that E1am?

This is what I mean. A lot of assumptions without a dash of truth. O.K. I have been training for Two years and I am still a brown belt. I have no desire for a black belt before I am ready for the test. My dojo is not in a mall and I am not into porno. Furthermore I am not gay(not that there is anything wrong with that) and I DO NOT appreciate the advances!
A lot of people here probably assume that I am weak or unassuming because I train karate, but I assure you I am completely prepared mentally, physically and spiritually to handle myself in a confrontation.

TracyKarate,
This place is about as realistic and "martial" as a pre-school day care. Why post seriously on this forum? There are many others that are much more interesting.
