Default Mir's Game Plan

****spoiler****

I could tell he didn't want to bring the fight to the ground. It seemed to me like Nog's plan for every fight is to lure his enemies into a false sense of security (falling down from a punch, etc.) then pulling off an unexpected sub. Mir expected this and kept waiting for Nog to stand up every time he knocked him down instead of (like most fighters) going in for some ground and pound. In the end, it gained him the win. Nog showed a lot of heart, though.

Since Mir had bad cardio Nog's plan was to take it to the later rounds and get a sub. Nog can also take a beating and Mir is not known for his stand up.

Nog was not even working on his stand up for this fight. Nog was working on his takedowns and BJJ.

Mir had a great game plan. He improved his cardio and he worked on his stand up.
