He is a Wushu stylist and an Actor. I'd doubt if he'd be that good in the Octagon.

I don't know who Jet Lee is. I know who Jet Li is though and I doubt he would be any good in MMA since he was a wu shu player and an actor. You must be a newbie to have spelled his name Lee instead of Li. Actually that isn't his real name. Thats his stage name. His real name is Li Lianjie.

A lot of Jet Li's moves are speeded up for film. He was a wu shu champion and was on the Bejing Wu Shu team when Wu Bin was coach. He is not known for fighting so I doubt that he would fair well in MMA. Now if he were fighting just an average guy out in a bar I'm sure he would do really good but against someone like a Rampage Jackson or a Matt Hughes or a Randy Couture I doubt he would win. Not to mention Jet is getting up there in age.

Since he's in his mid 40s at least I don't think he'd get too far starting something like that now. And he'd have to be a complete, total, utter moron to give up making millions doing movies with beautiful women in exchange for making - at best - in a year what he probably spends on lunch now just to get beat, broken, and humiliated in the octagon by professional athletes half his age.

Honestly he I guess he will have a good chance in MMA. I like his strength and flexibility.

Jet Li is in an entirely different weight class, he is 5'7" and 145lbs.

He is fun to watch. Much more interesting than any MMA fighter and he uses groin strikes, fish hooks and claws the eyes LOL

YouTube - Jet Li - Ultimate Fight Scene - 01 - Fist of Legend.

and against MMA fighters LOL , LOL

YouTube - Jet Li Cage Fight Cradle 2 The Grave

I think he might stand a chance in real life, and notice all the illegal moves. LOL

Yeah, yeah, we already know you are an idiot. Why do feel the need to keep proving it?

Thousands of young fighters across the world, training as professional athletes with top instructors, spend years dedicating their lives to acheive success in MMA. Even though they are in superb condition, talented, aggressive, natural fighters - most of them won't even see the Octagon. Many who do, will only experience defeat. That is how tough the sport has become, that is the sheer level of quality.

So Jet Li, or anyone else you care to mention from the world of movies, past or present, with or without fish hooks and groin strikes, would not even get through a local amateur bout.

Jet Li is very good at what he does, that just isn't MMA.

He's at 'would get his middle-aged ass broke' level. Ok?
