what do you guys try to do when rolling with someone alot bigger/heavier than you?

Relax and let him do the work. It depends on your situation, but as I see it, rolling w/ significantly bigger and stronger opponents will let you test your technique. If the roll is really competitive, I'll sit back and defend for a while, get a sense of his abilities and try to detect weakness -- a lack of base, too much exertion of strength, etc.

Usually, unless I enjoy substantial technical superiority, I'll have to wait a while for the guy to tire out a bit to start working offense.

If the guy is relaxed and chill, then i just work technique. I look at anyone over 25lbs heavier than myself as a learning opportunity. I don't make submission my ultimate goal, but rather try different techniques and attempt to determine what I need to work on.

If the guy is bigger and better -- then its time to work on your defensive skills. Its all educational for me.

Rolling is fundamental.
