Smile NAGA - FFC in Miami was great!

The tournament went great! We had over 110 competitors, we had a lot of talented grapplers. I just got home and I am exhausted! Probably by tomorrow I will have all the results up on the website at www.FFCfights.com . If not tomorrow night, by Monday night. I would have to say that the best thing was that nobody was seriously hurt. There was only one injury, and it was a sprain.

If you went to the tournament, let me know what you guys thought about it.

Thanks,
Marcos

Take care

I personally train at the Gracie Academy of Miami under Pedro Valente and went to see the fights. I must congratulate "Conan's" school. They cleaned up at the tournament. My props go out to them. They had a big team there and everyone showed a lot of energy!!!

Good luck with your training!

sknydave,

Do you guys strictly work on groundwork at Conan's school or are you required to learn the stand up self defense techniques of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu as well? If so, how many lessons are they?

We do all kinds of different things, but no, there is no self-defense class with a set # of classes like in your school. Just beginners and advanced, kids, and women's self defense.
See ya
