Lets say Bruce Lee was still alive in his prime. And he fight Royce Gracie? Who do you think would win this epic battle? Bruce couldnt use his deadly finger jabs and sidekicks, but who knows, he was the best striker ever! I think this is an important question in deciding who the best fighter ever is and if kung fu is better than Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Your thoughts!

Wasn't this discussion just here as 'Bruce Lee vs. a modern grappler such as Ken Shamrock'? If Bruce Lee was still alive wouldn't he be in his 60's by now? How the hell could he be in his prime? Best striker ever? He was an actor, i've never seen him actually fight. Deciding who the best fighter EVER is? How do we know some ancient olympic pankratiast or some samurai wouldn't hand both of these guys their own asses?

LEGION-
to support your point that Bruce Lee would lose, you stressed that 'he was an actor'. I'm not going to get into the 'who would beat who' stuff, BUT, Keanu Reeves, Steve McQueen, Silvester Stallone, etc, they are actors...but you can't deny the fact that Bruce Lee was a martial artist. Acting was just a facet of who he was. In that case, I wish I was half the 'actor' he was. mind you i'm not saying i think he'd win, i'm just saying you should give credit where credit is due. |
