Reminds me of this sketch I saw in an art history class. It was an abosolutely monsterous concrete sphere meant to house the body of Sir Isaac Newton. The book called it sublime.

Napoleon was right though.....From the sublime to the ridiculous is but a step. If they try to build that thing, they're going to waste alot of time and energy.

If the thing houses 100,000 people, how on earth will that solve the overpopulation problem if Shanghai's population will be over 30 million? It actually reminds me of the Great Wall in that it would be a huge monument that was completely nonfunctional. God forbid the architects screw it up, or it may out do the Great Wall for a dubious honor.
