I believe that moderators should only be using their power to delete posts that are deemed not related to the topics of this forum or if they are in extreme poor taste or beyond social norms.

This is a forum that has had pretty lose defintions of what is deemed appropriate and what is not.

Simple behavior modification:
If a particular poster offends you, don't respond to it.
f a child cries and you pay attention to it, you reward the crying behavior, but if you ignore the child, you don't reward/reinforce that behavior that you want changed. plain and simple.

Shimora, I actually like you. Most all of your posts seem to be humorous or intelligent; however, this time I think that you have made a little error in reading my posts and have responded like an idiot, making you seem like a troll of the worst kind.

Where in my posts have I ever said that Tim and Goddess haven't done a good job?????? Why don't you quote me? In fact, I think I might know the part that you were mistaken on... Let's see...

Was it the part where I said, "I think Tim and Goddess should hire a few good people to help upkeep this message board."??? No, it couldn't have been that, because it only states that I think they should have help, not that they're bad at what they do.

Was it the post where I said, "Thank you, Tim. I love the forum that you've made. Keep up the good work."??? Ya, that sounds really disrespectful. I'm so sorry, Tim.

Maybe it was Tim's post where he got really made at me and said, "Good suggestions Ryan. I'll see what I can come up with."??? He sounds pretty insulted there.

Also, I wasn't whining that this forum sucks or anything. I was just stating that In the Guard's forum was better because it had more meaningful posts and that I wanted this forum to be just as good. So now maybe you can quit YOUR whining.

The part that got me was your opening sentences.

Look at it anyway you like but you are saying that ITG is better than Mousels because of the moderators. Tim & Goddess are the moderators here so do you now see what I mean? It appears that you are giving them a very back handed compliment.

In my opinion ITG is not better than this forum. ITG is too heavily policed by fools like socal who do not use their moderator powers wisely. Many,many good posts get deleted there, too many. It is not a good forum at all. If you like ITG then maybe you would also like to live in Communist China instead of the U.S.A. ??

Tim & Goddess do a great job here and Mousels is a far better board than ITG. My only suggestion to Tim & Goddess would be to transfer all the off topic posts by imbeciles like duchman to the off topic forum. Eventually people would start visiting the off topic forum to see the posts and wallah! we have a busy off topic board for once. This is all they have to do to remedy the slight problems they have here. There is no need to make every man and his dog a moderator. You would just end up with yet another over policed MMA messageboard. There are plenty of them already.

You go back to ITG with your anally retentive friends, I on the other hand choose freedom.

Oddly I try to let things play out before editing/moderating but and edit as a last resort but some blatent troll type posts get nipped in the bud.

There is a place for all of these forums and their associated posters. Each one has its own unique characteristics to bring to the table.

socal I had no opinion of you until you started accusing trolls at ITG of being me. Then you were following me around the Underground calling me names like "Shimora the busy little troll" when I was making a sensible post. It was at this time that I realized you are a fool.

As for the other suggestions, you all mean well but you are fools.

The ONLY way to curb the troll problem is to constantly move their threads over to the off topic forum. As I stated above, eventually this will make the Off Topic forum as popular as the main board. The difference being that this board will only have MMA or BJJ related posts.

I offer my services to Tim & Goddess as a consultant. I said many months ago that i could turn this place around. I stand by that statement.
