Um... Not everyone who speaks English is from the United States. Pyjamas is spelled with a Y in English not American!

There's no u in the word color either.But in England it is spelled colour.We Americans seem to think we invented the English language.It's called English,not Americaneese.So if we spell something different,that means we changed it.
