EJ,long time no hear from you.
A shad is an oily, bony, fish that weighs about 3 lbs and they come up into the rivers in the millions.They are so easy to catch that you have a fifty a day limit.
But they fight as hard as a small steelhead and are a blast to catch and release.
They also make the very best sturgeon bait too.That's what we use to catch the oversized stugeon.900lbs or better.
