My ankle is bizzare

Ok my ankles are strandge, I dont feel pain in them, me and my training partner where working on ankle locks and he tought he was doing them wrong cause i was feeling nothing and he would tap when I hook the hold. So we asked my sensei, he putted me in a ankle lock and it did nothing and he's not no one he's a former 2 times canadian Jiu jitsu champ. He said to me your lucky but one day it will break and he started laughing (wich he never does). What you all think about this super story?
