i'd like to buy some mats, but every place i've checked is either too expensive, or they only seem to market to schools. any of you guys find a place that has particularly good deals on wrestling mats, or judo/jujutsu style tatemi?

The following mat company http://www.resilite.com sells puzzle-piece mats (40'' x 40'' pieces) of varying thickness at reasonable prices. You can buy as many or as few puzzle pieces as you want and assemble them to make a mat of whatever size and shape is most convenient for your home or club. They are also one of the biggest wrestling mat companies in the country, so you know that their product quality is good. I just ordered nine 1 1/2'' thick pieces (a mat approx. 10' x 10') for $360 plus shipping and handling.
