It's a Shotokan karate teacher's website. It is freaking hilarious and a very honest look at karate! This guy seems pretty cynical about karate!

Just because this fool has not unlocked the secrets of the kata is no reason for him to mock it. Why the hell is he a Karate Teacher if he is so cynical about it?

He should mock it 'cause it's application to real world combat is marginal at best.

I like these two paragraphs from one of his pages:

The karate world is like Night of the Living Dead, with people dragging their feet, moaning, and walking mindlessly through the darkness with drool coming out of their mouths.

Sometimes you have to slap someone to wake them up. Some people you have to splash water on to wake them. Others you have to set on fire before they'll wake up. Some people might burn to death that way. I don't think we'd miss those people very much.
