I have a new found respect for...
Dan Henderson. Oh my God he was good...
I couldn't believe my bias against him. I hadn't really seen how good he's gotten since his UFC 18 (?) days against Goes and Newton. The man is insane, in one fight he turned from my third least favorite fighter (after Randleman and Coleman naturally) to top 10 maybe even top 5. Even as a BJJ guy I give the guy props for not only using his unbelievable wrestling skills, but adding boxing, and what was that I saw him use? The guard? I should've known he was that good when I found out he trains with Couture. BTW, Vitor really did deserve that JD and the Oyama/Silva fight had a tragic stoppage in it. Way too early

Henderson is incredible and he has surprising punching skills. True, he got a beatdown at the hands of Silva but that's what you get for trying to stand and throw with him --- but he didn't get KO'ed and he landed some great shots on Silva as well.
I wish they would have stopped the Shoji fight because he was beating the piss out of him. I'd like to see Henderson fight Liddell. The Oyama/Silva stoppage was early but you know what. Oyama would have had his head kicked off and I just didnt need to see that so the stoppage was fine with me. -hD |

Looks like us three are the only people posting on this board now. And the only thing we all agree on is that Henderson is the new HNIC.
