Default Kung Fu Challenge!

Here is the thread, there is also one at ITG.

http://forum.kungfuonline.com/1/Open...1&m=2851935032

Here is the video clip.

The winner got $5000.00, no rules. There is a better video of the San Soo guy trying to eye gouge John Marsh with little success.-ED

You would think after having your shoulder dislocated by an Ude-Garami you would have learned your lesson.

It was to say the least a very sad display, but you have to give him some credit he did have balls to face off against John Marsh. Although I doubt he really knew what he was getting himself into.-ED

Exclamation

On the KFO forum, both some people from the MMA and Kung Fu crowd are making asses of themselves.

Yella-Tiger,

It is like mixing oil and water over there sometimes, not a good mix, but it is a fun forum.-ED

Thumbs up

Yeah,I've been reading the kung fu forum for the last couple of days too.At least some of the pure Kung fu guys are noticing that they need to add some ground fighting into their style after watching the video.

I can attest to it being alot more active, but I hear more about MMA there than I do about Kung Fu. LOL its all confusing anyway. Phoenix Fist? How can you remember names like that?

The guy probably train hard and firmly believes in his Kunf-Fu and wanted to test himself... for Kung-Fu practitionner, it is the best martial art, the five animals and that stuff. At least he tried!

Sean commented after the fight that it is people like John Marsh who prompted mankind to invent the shotgun.

what does that mean?

It means that Marsh is one baaaaaaad mother f ucker. Sean is saying the only way he could win is by shooting Marsh with a gun.

i dont know why, but my BJJ teacher a while ago was giving Kung Fu props. He's not the kind to give other martial arts that much credit either (besides Muay Thai, boxing and sometimes wrestling) but just talked about how Kung Fu was the 3rd most popular MA in Brazil. I found that wierd

look at the size difference alone.Even if he had some ground skills he was out of his weight class by a long shot.

This proves how well respected the traditional arts are. This Kung Fu man was 41 years old and weighed 155lbs yet the only person who would take him on was a 230lb BJJ Brown Belt with competition experience. Even then he took too long to submit the Kung Fu guy considering how you sport fight guys think Kukg Fu has no merit.

Yay for BJJ! Yay! what a convincing victory for BJJ!!

What a pathetic circle jerk. A 230lb guy in top physical condition could defeat a 41 year old 155lb guy without any training. I hope you guys are proud of the mighty art of BJJ.

What would have been more impressive is if the BJJ guy was 155 and the Kung Fu guy was 230. This challenge was a pathetic joke.
As is all Sport Fighting.
