Kimbo loses by LAME stoppage to Nelson in a LAME fight

God, that fight sucked! No action at all! I'd say Kimbo got the better of the standup, he actually landed a couple shots. I think Roy realized he couldn't stand with Kimbo so he clinched. Roy took him down into a side control/crucifix position in both rounds and landed little rabbit punches to the top of Kimbo's head. It didn't look like it was hurting Kimbo at all, but Kimbo was trapped and couldn't move, so they stopped the fight.

Roy is very arrogant, just listen to the guy talk for a few minutes. I can't imagine how he can win fans over with the way he acts. Or the way he fights.

Hopefully, Kimbo will be back in there. Apparently if someone gets injured, he will right back into the mix. His standup is good, his groundfighting needs to be a lot better.

The funniest part of the episode was when Rampage started talking about Roy's huge fat belly. He said "I bet he hasn't seen his little friend in years." My favorite part of the show is Rampage footage, he could do a standup comedy routine, that'd be cool.

So far, after 3 fights (6 fighters) I can't imagine any of these guys hanging in the UFC against the likes of Velasquez, Carwin, dos Santos, Nogueira, etc. I think everyone I've seen so far would get destroyed even by Kongo.

Roy made a nice ko soto gake takedown and showed a strong chin. It was no way Kimbo was going to buck Roy off of him. The ref stopped it too early but I guess it's the amatuer league.
