![]() | The Igor v Satake fight was a special agreement that Igor would let Satake survive the first round. Igor held back throughout the entire fight to be handed a decision. Apparently this is better for Satakes reputation than if Igor had KO'd him. The Sakuraba v Quinton Jackson was known to be work weeks ago. In the same vein as the Shannon Ritch fight, Pride select a little known American to fight Sakuraba and lose to a submission in the first round. It helps to raise the profile of the lesser known fighter and being caught with a sub is not as humiliating as being KO'd. They allowed Jackson to slam Saku a few times to further make him look better before he was "submitted". Ryan Gracie vs the Jap Guy he fought in Pride10. For a start why would they have this rematch? The only reason to have a rematch was to give the Jap guy a victory over a Gracie. The fight reeked of staged moves and was the most pathetic main event ever held in Pride. Pride15 was much like Pride 11 in that it was made specifically for the Japanese audience. Pride will never gain credibility in the U.S.A until they stop these disgusting worked matches.

![]() | John Matao is correct. There were many many works in this Pride fight. The Yakuza made a lot of money out of this show.
