Smoking is bad! At my school there's a guy who smokes, and it literally stinks to roll with him. Quit while you still can !

I like the Lewinsky flavored ones from Washington D.C

They smell a bit fishy but they taste good.

Try Griffin's, Davidoff's, or any brand from the Canary Islands...assuming you don't have access to any Habano brands.

The newest trend at all the parties that my old private schoolmates throw are smoking cigars. Expensive ass Cuban ones. Somehow that actually fits! My friends HATE cigarettes saying it'll kill you and stuff but enjoy stogies. Of course it helps they only smoke 1-2 on a bimonthly basis. Cracks me up though, I dont want to try any of that.....maybe when Im old and gray, like Sweepem

I'm old enough to pull the stunt...

I smoke EVERY DAY from one to three stoogies, mainly macanudos and punchs, but the occasional cohiba slip trough from time to time. It's really hard to see me without an habano in my mouth, and this is something that crack my teammates up.

I smoke regularly after rolling (I light up when I have AT LEAST one foot outside the gym door...he he).

So far I haven't seen nothing that hinder my performance, and mind you..at 34 (the past 20 july..) I still run the 100mt dash in 12.1 secs., I had a bf% of only 7 and have sparred thaiboxing for four hours straight...

Maybe it'just me...I'm in love with cigars.

To answer the original question, for me the absolutely best cigar for a beginner is the corona punch.

I mean, it was beloved by JFK, how the man that laid Marylin can be EVER wrong???? he...he...

My personal favorite is the Leon Jimenez torpedo. A very smooth smoke. Especially with good whiskey.

Some hints for the truly cigar aficionado:

1.Never smoke in public places, and never smoke a big stoogie when you are walking down the street; it's cheap and bad taste.

2.Never lite a cigar with a lighter. Especially a zippo. The lighter's fuel will ruin the cigar taste.

3.Use a cigar cutter, never your teeths.

    4.Never, ever inhale.

5.Keep a low key attitude. Don't show off. You are not a roaring twenties gangster...

    Never smoke in public places?
    Then where will you smoke?
Most Irish pubs allow cigars and some bars do too. Outside of the USA all bars allow them. I don't understand this because cigarettes are stinky and cigars are aromatic.
I have to say I enjoy it when I'm puffing away in a bar and some of the other customers are getting irritated by the smoke!
