I finally found a use for my old karate dan ranking certificates…

I used to have them hanging in the hall, framed and under glass in the early 80’s. I lost all but one in a move years later. (probably out in that black hole of a garage somewhere)

I have one left. First Dan granted by Nakayama before his death. It occupies a place of honor under my couch.

I use it to clean weed on.

Somewhere Nakayama and Funakoshi spin in their graves…
