Default Flexibility and BJJ

Its obvious that flexibility helps your technique. Imagine trying to do an elbowscape and your knees do go past your hips... pretty hard

So my question to you is what is the best way to develop flexibility, especially in the back, and legs, which is required for curling into a ball especially when your on the bottom.

Right now my flexibility downright sucks and it prevents me from doing many techniques requiring bridging and elbowscaping. Any particular exercises good for becoming loose?

Default Say wot!

Go ahead put your two cents in, and don't just say stretch cause I've been doing that for years but it just keeps from from turning into a tin man, as opposed to making me into a yogamaster!

Step 1: Bite down on something hard.
Step 2: Place your hands ontop of the nearest table.
Step 3: Unfasten your belt.
Step 4: Take off..............

No. Gawd, no! I won't say it! It will, however, make you looser.

Sorry about that, Guardmaster....

My stretching routines come from an old Tae Kwon Do book. Two-man stretching exercises help flexibility greatly.

I also find that spending alot of time in the guard gets your legs limbered up a great deal.
