Exclamation Back in Seattle!

Well, I've been back in the States since Sunday. No big reverse culture shock yet. Except going to Baskin Robbins and seeing more fat people at once than I see in a month in Japan. Between carrying all my luggage around and sitting in a plane for eight and a half hours my back has been a lot worse the last few days. I'm just spending this week resting and getting things together. I think I'll start the job hunt next week.

Lightbulb Damn Yella,

That's a good idea. Especially since I actually have experience managing a Ben & Jerry's in Atlanta. Of course that could be dangerous. I gained ten pounds when I was working there.

Welcome Home dude

So, was it worth it to leave for 3 years?
Hmmm, you did have some really good adventures, especially in some of the back alleys of Japan.

Oh, and I would say that you are now an expert in Japanese cuisine.
Now you can buy all the quarter pounders you want, and it won't be as expensive as in Japan.

Question

You know what they call a quarter pounder in Japan?

Nothing. They don't have them. But if they did it'd be quataa poundaa.

Sweep: I'd say it was worth it. Overall I had a great time. Anything bad that happened to me or any stupid moves I made were my fault. It has definitely changed my perspective for the better.

JaredX: Where do you train? I used to train at the Seattle School of BJJ. However, Ground Effects has opened up very close to my house since I left. Unfortunately I won't being doing jack until my back gets better.

Cool

Dude, you need to have someone fix that back of yours, otherwise by the time you're 30, you'll be hunched over walking like an old man.

Eeee one am, I train at Marcelo Alonso's Tacoma Academy. I live in Federal Way, and even though Ground effects is way closer to me, Marcelo is a great instructor. Unfortunatly though, i'm going to be having jaw surgery at the end of august, so i'll be out of JJ til january.
