PRIDE 15: Silva v. Overheem playbyplay!

OK, I break my laptop out last night in front of the TV so the wife thinks i'm working. I pop in Pride 15, and decided to type a play by play as I watched. (yes, I can type w/o looking... the whole opposible thumb thing.) Anyway, if you don't want to know RESULTS... DON'T READ ANY FARTHER!!!!!

Vanderlei is in the corner, and is so keyed-up, it looks like he wants to be in the ring as well.
Silva (academia chute boxe, brasil) wins by heel hook in the 1st round.
Start with standing, silva shoots and gets a good double leg. Overheem goes for guillotene from half-guard. Silva escapes. Overheem ends up in Silvas guard and in the corner. Pounds Silva relentlessly while Silva looks first for triangle, then armbar. Silva pushes Overheem down (leg sweep) and goes for heel hook. Overheem looked exhausted. Silva showed a good chin as he took numerous shots (unprotected) to the head. This fight would have been stopped in the UFC (IMHO).

I wonder why Silva didnt standup and trade?
