I think that Frank should be fighting Braga in the upcoming K-1 instead of Shannon. This would be a much more interesting match and would show Frank's ability in relation to other top middleweights more clearly. I wonder if the promoters offered this to him; I could see Frank ducking Braga if they did. That would have been a dangerous matchup for Frank.

Shoji vs Braga was a pretty even fight. Perhaps Shoji had a little bit of the advantage, but nothing decisive. Basically his victory was a Japanese hometown decision, IMO. And Shoji's not a bad fighter. Yeah, he looks like a fat little midget but he's a pretty tough guy. I'd personally like to see Frank take on Vanderlei. He said in an interview recently that he had no interest in fighting Vanderlei because he felt Vanderlei could not challenge him as a fighter or as an athlete. I think that's a load of crap.

Guy Mezger also lost a decision to Shoji, nothing wrong with that. I just think that the way Braga has been looking lately that he may be in for some very big wins. The first time I saw him he guillotined Jeremy Horn in about a minute the UFC after Frank had struggled to beat him.
