Guys I got a muay thai match next sunday. I'm not worried on anything technical and I've had enough time to train, but I took this fight on somewhat short notice. I need to cut a little weight (perhaps like five pounds) and I don't have that much time to do it. So if any of you have any tips for cutting weight (only healthy suggestions please...I don't want to take laxatives until I crap my guts out or anything like that) please share them. Thanx!

Well, I'm not an expert or anything, but I had to lose about 3 or 4 pounds a couple weeks ago, and I thought it was pretty easy. Instead of eating my usual Macaroni and Cheese/Pasta/Hamburger type meals, I just replaced them with simple stuff. I ate a lot of vegetables like carrots and broccoli (I dipped them in Ranch sauce), bannanas, and lots of tuna or turkey sammiches. Basically, I just ate stuff that was filling, but didn't have a lot of fat. Bon appetite !

I'm not a big expert or anything, but cant you lose 5 lbs without a great loss of energy easily on the same day by running, or sweating in the sauna?

BTW I actually lost 5 pounds last night at a Blink 182 concert! All ya gotten do is mosh and pogo hop for a couple hours. hehe

Thanx for all the ideas guys! In the past I've always naturally tended towards my fighting weight so I've never really had to worry too much about cutting weight before. But it's really not that hard...well, at least if its only five pounds.
BTW, Yella Tiger I'm gonna kick his head off just for you
