Default Whats the word on these fighters?

I've been curious about what some of the MMA fighters from a few yrs ago are up to and if we'll be seeing them fighting again soon. Props to Don Frye for his comeback!

Where has Patrick Smith been? I'd love to see a fight between him and Gilbert Yvel. There both around the same height and weight and they're mainly vicious strikers.

Where is Joe Pardo? He's the purple belt that burst on the scene a few yrs back and lost to Mike Van Ardsdale in the UFC. Has he been in any other smaller MMA events or tournaments the last few yrs or is he out of the MMA game now?

Where is Kimo? He's one of my favorite fighters. His fight w/ Bam Bam Bigelow in U-Japan is on my highlight list of most exciting MMA fights? I saw him in the Food Court of Ala Moana Mall in Honolulu about 2.5 yrs ago and he looked a lean and mean 230 lbs or so. He was a really cool guy and I got some pictures w/ him and my friends. Is he still in the MMA game? I thought he was going to be in a UCC event this past yr but it wasn't to be.

At least Don "The Predator" Frye is coming back! I think he could still make some serious waves in the MMA world.

Lastly, where is Joe Son? Just kidding.......:-)

Last time I saw Pat Smith was a kickboxing match 2-4 years ago. He was very out of hsape, handing his ass handed to him, and he takes the guy down in a clinch! (what a deusche bag) Anyway the ref stands them up and he proceedes to get KTFO.

Joe Pardo didn't really "burst" on the scene. He kind of eased in and left crawled out.

Kimo just got outta the big house, according to net rumors.

The Predaor is indeed on the next Pride card, we'll see what time has done.

Joe Son hard at work creatingyet another martial art designed to render the enemy empotent

I guess neither Pat Smith nor Joe Pardo will be showing up in any MMA events anytime soon. So what's the word on Kimo? Was he in for a few weeks or the last year or so?

Talking hola

man I just reread my post and my spelling was horrible. I guess trying to respond at work without the boss seeing is a bad idea. THe only thing I've heard on Kimo were net rumors so take it with a grain of salt. Word was he was in the pen for possession.

Thanks Qkfx,
Well, I really hope to see Kimo get back in the ring. He really is an exciting fighter and has a great intensity. Hopefully he'll hit the training hard and maybe we can see him in the ring sometime next year.
