    Pride 16 SPOILERS Inside

    ** SPOILERS BELOW **

    ------------

Gary Goodridge defeated Yoshiaki Yatsu Submission (Guillotine Choke) 3:05 1R
Assuerio Silva defeated Norihisa Yamamoto by TKO (Punches) 0:11 seconds, 1R
Murilo "Ninja" Rua def Daijiro Matsui TKO (Head kicks) 0:51 3R
Ricardo Arona defeated Guy Mezger Split Decision, 5:00 3R
Semmy Schilt defeated Akira Shoji TKO (Knee) 8:19 1R
Don Frye defeated Gilbert Yvel DQ 7:22 1R (Yvel was grabbing the ropes)
Rodrigo Nogueira defeated Mark Coleman Submission (Armbar from Triangle Choke) 6:10 1R

Damn, this was the only card in history where I was able to predict every match ups winner. For the exception of the main event, I'm pretty sure most people got at least 5 of the matches. Doesn't everyone feel like getting in the middle of the Pride Ring with the rest of the Top Team, huddle up with them and begin yelling "JIU-JITSU! JIU-JITSU!"

BJJ fighters just need to catch up physically with the rest of the MMA world. Everyone else thought they figured out BJJ, but now with the new generation like Serra, Penn, Nino, Arona and of course Nogueira, we see what gifted atheletes who actually train hard can do.

Big Daddy won like everyone expected atleast he did not blow the head off, of the old japanese psycho fighter

    A. Silva is a monster he as a victory over Sakurai and now a 4 punch destruction in pride WOW!

Brutal Brutal and Bloody thats Ninja vs. Matsui, Ninja had no mercy and Matsui had a big heart it was brutal

Arona win over mezger I personnely dont give a damn lol

Shilt destroy the little Shoji mismatch thats what i dont like about Pride

It was looking like a good fight Frye vs. the f'n Hurricane but damn Yvel, comeon eyegauge, headbutt and holding the rope i dont like Yvel a quitter who's only one dimensionnal.

And finnaly the "surprise" I had my money on Coleman but remember Coleman was sick, Nogeira is the new generation of heavyweight bjj monster, he showed why he won Rings King of king and showed why he his atleast in the top 5 heavy on my list he is #3!

Wishlist for Pride 17: Saku vs. Axe Murderer (confirm for middle belt YAAAAAAAA)
Nogeira vs. (my favorite heavy) Heath Herring!
Don Fry vs. Coleman (why not)
    Bring Ninja back
    Bring Assuerio Silva back
Semmy Shilt vs. Igor Vovhujdbsd something (you know the russian killer stiker lol)
    Arona vs. Liddel

Pride 17 is suppose to be the biggest well i cant wait to see it!

Angel, I think the Silva you're talking about is Anderson Silva. This guy is the guy that got whooped on by Overseem and then somehow got that phantom heel hook. That is by far the wierdest thing I've seen in a fight

I heard he's from the Chute Boxe Academy. Is he related to Vanderlei or do they just have the same last name?

    ttt!

And so everything is cleared up, according to Sherdog.com Anderson Silva is the guy that beat Sakurai and Aussiero is the guy that beat Overseem and was in the last Pride. All 3 are from Chute Box, but none are related I assume.
