I heard that the owner of the gas station threatened Renzo's wife because she passed through his property but got gas at another station adjacent to his. She was shook up and she went home and told Renzo. He went back a couple days later and (according to him) politely asked to talk to the guy about it. He told he him to fu(k off and didn't apologize so Renzo slapped him, knocking him down. That's what I heard.

That all depends on how the situation played out. If the guy at the gas station assaulted anyone then Renzo has the right to protect himself or his family. He does not have the right (by law) to get physical with someone who did not initiate the contact. But that also depends on what was said....
As far as being a role model, that's a tough one. If someone threatened my wife or family member I would have done the same thing, if not more. On a side note, Renzo is considered a "professional fighter" no? If so, he could be in for a world of hurt legally speaking. |
