Wonder if that joe guy ever got his ass kicked yet since 8 years ago...

Be more funny too if he got his arm snapped in half by a grappler.

What happens if you keep the choke on a little longer, brain boy?

Someone saying a choke doesn't hurt is blatantly ignorant no matter what background they fight in!

I'm suddenly reminded of Gunnery Seargant Heartman ordering Private Pyle to choke himself.

Dude. A good choke is virtually painless. If the trachea is taking the force it will hurt and PANIC your victim. Struggling can cause it's own pain...

I like a choke, no secret there. It's much less painful than being knocked out with a club.

PHUI.

Newaza is girl judo. No dynamic tachiwaza. Just grappling.

please, all you have to do to win judo tournaments is to keep using the double leg takedown from wrestling over and over. thats all there is to that. jiu jitsu at least has some depth to it.

LOL BJJ is Judo (newaza)! Only the names have changed...

If you have any doubt take a peek into Kosen Judo.

They are virtually identical. (except for the names)

ah men!

the point in training is not to destroy someone.if you wanna do that then make a bomb. im unfortunate in that ive had many fights that have went that way ie messy. i would love to be skilled enough to be able to choke someone rendering them unharmed and unconcious.

I would not want to meet Royce Gracie in a dark alley, not even with a gun!
Same goes doubly so for Yoshida.

I hate seeing a UFC fight turn into a grapple match with one guys head resting against his opponents crotch.. thats not F***in entertainment!

But you get tired, and this gives you a chance to breath and get ahead in the scores by not letting your opponent move a muscle. Total dominance and control that is.
