Am only writing this because of the responses I got to my tip that Kostya would do this easy - about a year ago !
Sorry Big Bird ! Zab was not up to it ! Still too young, too cocky and too full of himself. When he gets over the fact that he ain't that great, he may still become great. Yeah, I know there may be talk that the ref stopped it early - only because of Jab's crap after he lost ! - but the facts speak for themselves - the ref made the call, the commentators agreed but most of all, it may have saved a further savage beating and his career ! The old guy did well ! You have to wonder how much he actually held back in his last fight to make Zab even cockier. Enough now from me.......having some more beers to celebrate ! Rock |

Rock, it was a great fight! I've always disliked Judah's ghetto attitude and was really hoping Kostya would kick his butt!! I've got to tell you, the stoppage was totally NOT controversial!!! He was messed up in a big way and the ref did the right thing. There's an old saying that goes something like this, "don't let your mouth write checks your ass can't cash!" It fits this situation perfectly. Great night for Kostya and non bigmouths everywhere!
Did you get my last e-mail (after you told me about the possible Singapore move?) Take it easy!!

Judah never saw that right coming!
And I agree, the stoppage was totally justifiable. Judah was jacked up. Always gotta luv it when some prick gets his ass beat! later dudes

I haven't used the hotmail account for a while. Will get back to you on email re: Singapore....it's been delayed for a while.
I agree with both of you. I don't think Zab would have been in any state to keep going. His mouth was still working but not much else. He has proven to have a weak jaw in the past and you don't want that against a hitter like Kostya. I hope Zab comes back and gets to a World Champion level again (not against Kostya though - that avenue should be avoided by him) but chances are that this may have set him back now mentally. Will he ever be the same again ? Who knows. |
