Now only because this comes up every few months. Can we make this a standard response (based upon an expectation of some muscle and a six pack !)
Here's the tip; Train Hard - Eat Healthy - Set Realistic expectations - Train Hard ! 1. Train Hard Work to a pump. Work the muscle until you feel it ! If you feel it the next day - you have done that ! Now REST it ! 2. Eat Healthy Unless you are on growth or roids, that means low fat content, high protein and some carbs to get you through the workouts. You will get various people recommending this percentage and that percentage........ base it upon your requirements ! 3. Set Realistoc Expectations Don't read "Muscle and Fitness", "MuscleMag", "IronMan" etc etc and expect to look like that unless you can afford 10,000 a year in HGH. 4. Train Hard Train Hard ! |

Yeah man. Drink water. 99 percent of people are chronically dehydrated. That's like expecting your car to run great running 2 quarts low on oil.
A rule of thumb is take your body weight, divide it by 2 and this is how many ounces of water every day you should be drinking. For example: if you weigh 180 lbs, 180 divided by two is 90. Drink 90 ozs of water every day. Not tea, not soda, not coffee, not milk. Water. Do this for a week and it is unbelievable how much better you will feel. It's not magic, it's basic physiology. Now, I can preach it, but I rarely follow this advice..... SZ |

excellent advice, funny how falling down on one seem to make the others futile.
The problems I find with myself most often are eating unhealthy food, eating too late and not training consistently. It can drive ya crazy if ya let it... hey wait a minute that a line from the song, "Working 9 to 5"....There's no Dolly Pardon in MMA...
