Rumble Zone's Ultimate Challenge Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) 4-Man Tournament Series.

Amateurs: 3-3 minute rounds with one overtime round (if needed). Pros: 3-5 minute rounds with one overtime round (if needed). 2 Pro & 2 Amateur 4-man Tournaments per event.

Weight Classes:

150 & Under - LightWeight

155 to 170 - MiddleWeight

175 to 190 - Light Heavyweight

195 & Over - HeavyWeight

Local winners advance to a Regional Tournament, the Regional winners advance to the National Tournament, then to the Ultimate Challenge World Clash for up to $5,000 in cash.

Ultimate Challenge Prizes - Pro Division:

Local pays: $500 to winner. $350 for 2nd and $200 for 3rd/4th.

Regional pays: $1,000 to winner. $500 for 2nd and $300 for 3rd/4th.

National pays: $2,500 to winner. $1,000 for 2nd and $500 for 3rd/4th.

Finishing Bonuses:

Local: $100 1st Round; $50 2nd Round and $25 3rd Round.

Regional: $300 1st Round; $150 2nd Round and $100 3rd Round.

National: $500 1st Round; $250 2nd Round and $100 3rd Round.

Ultimate Challenge - Amateur Division:

Amateurs do not receive compensation for fighting. Rumble Zone does have Sponsors who will provide "winning" Amateurs with certain Sponsorships.

Amateur Fighters advancing to the Ultimate Challenge Regionals receive $200 (per event) to wear apparel items like Hats, Headbands, Shorts, Shirts, Robes that would include the Sponsors Name and/or Logo. Plus, each "winning" Fighter would receive $50 (per fight) for mentioning the Sponsors name during the "After Fight Interview".

The Sponsorships increase to $300 per event, and to $100 for "After Fight Interview" in the Nationals.

Hotel Accommodations are provided for Amateur Fighters to all events. Travel assistance (up to $250) is provided to the the National and World events.

Hotel Accommodations and Travel assistance (up to $250) is provided for Pro Fighters to all events.

The Pro and Amateur winners of the National Tournament(s) get a Title shot with the current Ultimate Challenge World Champion in the Ultimate Challenge World Clash.

Pro Ultimate Challenge World Clash matches pay:

Champion - $2,000 to Show and a $3,000 Bonus to Win. Plus Finishing Bonus of $5,000 in Round #1, $3,000 in Round #2 and $1,500 in Round #3. ($5 per second time penalty in all Rounds)

Challenger - $1,000 to Show and a $1,500 Bonus to Win. Plus Finishing Bonus of $2,500 in Round #1, $1,500 in Round #2 and $750 in Round #3. ($5 per second time penalty in all Rounds)

Pro World Clash Title Defense Bonus: Earnings increase by 10% with each "successful" Title defense. (Maximum 100% increase)

Amateur Ultimate Challenge World Clash Sponsorships are:

$500 for the event, and $500 for the "After Fight Interview".

Ultimate Challenge Series events in February 2002 are Montgomery, Alabama and Jackson, Mississippi.

Montgomery event will feature: Pro Division - HeavyWeights and MiddleWeights. Amateur Division will feature: Light HeavyWeights and LightWeights. Weight Classes rotate with every event.

Fighters need to contact us via email with Ultimate Challenge in the subject line. Please include a complete Bio and which Tournament and Weight Class you wish to apply for. Once accepted, Fighters must submit a $50 Appearance Guarantee Fee when sending in their signed Fight Agreement. This fee is refundable immediately after the weigh-in.

Rumble Zone also has the Champions Quest Series, which utilizes singles matches in all 7 Weight Classes (same as UFC) in both Amateur and Pro Divisions. Amateur Division has 2 levels: Novice and Advanced. Pro Division has 2 levels: Intermediate and Advanced. These are held once per month in various cities.
