Well my lunch date went great today. Laughed, talked, etc for 3 hours. Great girl, lots in common, and hopefully there will be some more get-togethers in the future.

Next week I am meeting a Japanese college student for lunch, and am hoping good thing will come from that too.

No, they're not any more attractive than anyone else

There is no Asiaphille antics going on at all. Most of my good friends are Japanese, and I guess I relate to the culture a lot from my interests in bushido, judo, etc.
It's not really anything other than that.
That kind of thing has little to do with the culture now adays, but I guess the respect has always been there for me.
