    Atama or HCK ??

Hey guys, I'm sure you all have heard about these two companies and their holiday sales. So here's the question: Should I get the HCK white double ($130 free shipping) or the Atama white double ($105 plus $12 shipping)?

    real close......

It's almost like the old days of the debate of the Mustang and the Camaro...

I would say you can't go wrong with either.........

as you know, I just got the Atama and I like it. If I had the choice and could have gotten the HCK, I probably would still take the Atama.
Now I don't have a side by side comparison but if I had to be critical, I would have to give the edge to HCK but I do like the embroidery work on the Atama logo compared to the small HCK logo, stupid isn't it......HA

Good Idea since you're still working on getting that G.E.D.

hey, what is it now, the fifth try?

maybe one day you'll make it into college like Erin (Duchie dude) or Patterson

Hey sweep, does the stitching on the back of the HCK make any difference?

sweep, i'm gonna get it... you'll see, and you'll be eating your words...

jared. what, you don't ask me? what am i, chopped liver? (lol)

i'd say yes, the setsugi stitching DOES make a difference against guys who like to sit up, reach over and grab the back of the gi. it won't totally prevent it, but it's definitely much more difficult to get a grip on. also, howard's 4 rows of setsugi stitching help with this a lot more than other gi's 1 or 2 rows of setsugi stitching.

you need to try and find someone with an HCK to really see what i mean.

    i hope this helps.

Sorry spongebob, are you getting a comission for this? Hehe I guess I'll get the HCK. I don't really want the flashy Atama embroidery since I'll probably be using the gi for some introductory judo lessons as well as BJJ.

haha... yeah, that's another reason why i like the HCK... the small, subtle embroidery.

may i suggest the comp single?

    good luck to you!

Well, apparently I WON'T be getting an HCK as they don't have any double weave whites in my size and won't give me a raincheck on the sale price. There goes one customer to the competition...

    Bummer J.E.

I assume that you'll be going for the Atama then...........

as I said, either way, you can't go wrong.

Eric is cool to deal with and should have your size.
