Lost to Gardner from the USA!!!
Karelin was down 1-0, tired and frustrated so he conceded the victory to the American with some time still on the clock. Karelin's first loss EVER in international competition. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/oly..._ap/index.html Damn!!!

yeah I was damn suprised....but Karelin is getting a little older.....anyways, he's still the most dominant wrestler in greco history

Yeah, that really bummed me out. First the "Pocket Hercules" doesn't even medal then Karelin is defeated. Age is the great equalizer.
