Jugaro Kano vs Morihei Ueshiba (battle of jujitsu)

Ok, both these martial arts founders would never agree to spar with each other, kind of like Superman and Green Latern. But, lets say Kano mutters a few things about Ueshiba's wife and the two agree to spar on some mats. This is a stricktly jujitsu match with no strikes.

I personally believe Kano would come out on top because his style (Judo) is more complete than Ueshiba's (Aikido). Also, I think Kano would know more reversals to joint locks and manipulations. Granted this is all speculation, but it's kind of cool to think about what would have happened between these two masters.

I don't know much about Kano, but I do know that he founded a more sport type martial art, Judo. If they played by the rules of Judo, Kano would win.

If they had no rules, and just duked it out, I think Ueshiba would come out on top.

That would be a weird match - I don't think either of them would engage the other!
