That movie rocked hard core. I wanna go see it again. Longest combat scenes, w/out a doubt.

Payback? That confrontation left 1,000 skinnys dead vs. 19 U.S. servicemen who lost their lives. What is your take on the whole thing Duc? Sounds like politics was more responsible in this incident than anything else. Washington wanted to keep this a low profile mission. Consequently, they didn't send in the reinforcement necessary to rescue the Rangers et al.

I have actually trained with one of the Delta guys that is prominently featured in the movie. I was floored when I read the book and they used his real name! They still use his real name in the movie!
I'm not sure he is very happy about it because he is still active in the community... So I want to see the movie then get the scoop on how accurate it is. Could be a very cool DVD if they include how they did all the stunts. |
