| Novice | Oh my good incradible event, Frye vs. Shamrock = A classic in 15 years I will be able to say that I saw that classic, plus almost all match where good except maybe for the first one. Silva is changing he's adapting to a new game. Nogueira was impressive like always (he should be call the submission machine lol) Inoue had a big heart Herring vs. Vovchanching was brutal damn those guy are good Newton vs. Pele WOW! Steibling is the next hit Damn Pride after this event I think is rank #1 of all promotion, cant wait for the Middleweight Grandprix, the return of Bas Rutten 2002 will be a good year for Pride

![]() | That was my first Pride. I was pretty impressed with the fights but I have to say......the commentating of Quadros and Rutten was not up to UFC standards. The other obvious issue is that Pride REALLY needs to go to a cage. This shit about moving the fighters out of the ropes and repositioning them in the ring is baloney. I think they can do away with the ring. But the fights? Wow! Great show. Frye v. Shamrock was enough to pay the $30 for alone! I really enjoyed that fight. It was like watching Ali/Frazier. Great stuff.
