If the Gracie's are so great then why haven't they produced any good MMA fighters that attend the academy at this moment???

If Gracie Jiu Jitsu is the best than why have so many students left to train with "bastard sons" of real BJJ schools?

If the Gracie academy is the best than why did the two main blackbelts decide to leave? One of which you are praising.

If The Gracie Academy is the best school than why did the machado's beat them under their own rules at an in-house tournament? Losing all but one bracket.

Evertime I've seen a gracie student compete in normal BJJ tournaments they get their asses handed to them. All of them believe that takedowns aren't important, that conditioning isn't important, that moving when on bottom isn't important, well guess what it is whether your doing MMA or sport jiujitsu.

I myself a champion in one of the gracie national tournaments attended that ridiculous school and saw the light. Rorion didn't know what a triangle was until he opened a judo book and that's the honest 100% truth. You need to get your facts straight, I've been around the BJJ circuit for years. I feel bad for pathetic mind controlled pawns of Rorion like yourself. Get a clue Troll.

Default what a joke

first off, how many street fights go to the ground? really, they go there, and you get kicked in the head. i love bjj, and if thats a bastard stepchild of gjj, then gracie jj is a bastard stepchild of kimuras judo. rewmeber, kimura was fighting challenges way before helio. also, ten years ago bjj and gjj sucked at leglocks, now they have all added leglocks from sombo, also they sucked at takedowns, they all now train with wrestlers, so is it gjj anymore, no. it is now a crosstraining sytem of sombo, grecko roman, and bjj/ also royce has been training since diapers,as has every gracie, so if there art is superior, and they have 20 yrs more ground experience than most competitors, they should wipe the floor with everyone. to say that gjj kills wrestling, thats simple, wrestlers train there whole life, not to be on their back, so they lose, its unfair, a habit that is ingrained thru years, is hard to break. go against a good freestyle wrestler who can slam you into unconciousness, and stand with him. your done, he will slam you onto conncrete, or a car,and fights over, or will you sit on the floor and but scoot, like my dog does, after dumping. see, in ufc, you can sit on the floor. wait for your opponent to come down, i doubt you will do that in the street.also, use your bjj in a bar fight, or against a weapon, its very weak. why is your idle royce doing kali these days? i love bjj,and it gives a little guyy like me, a fair chance in a fight, but its not the bestb art

Default bla bla

truth is, its the americans claiming bjj is best, all the brazilians acknowledge the style has incorporated other arts. americans jump on bandwagons, and hold on so tight.

Yes, Gracie Jiu Jitsu (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, same thing) sucks, so just go into a BJJ studio and tell them they suck and the art is a farce and their fighters suck blah blah blah but nobody on here will do that, so until you tap out a BJJ fighter, shut the **** up already

hey dude i didnt say it sucked, i love it! see when ninjutsu was the rage guys tried to throw powders in your eyes shit like that, then kids picked up mt and kickboxing, i preferred bouncing the drunk ninjas...the mt guys can knock hell out of you if you dont watch em...bouncing in dives and titty bars you see alot of young "martial artist" and brainwashed military(straight out of boot) who think they can whip anyone...bouncing sure is fun...i love bjj because i prefer guys advertising thier style on thier shirts ...like you cant hear thier drunken b.s and figure it out on your own...so anyway its much nicer tossin you drunk little punks out since we dont have to worry about your striking ability...no ive never tapped any of you out since i dont play uncle anymore my kids are all grown ...but i have laid a few out...at least they were bjj guys according to the cute little"we bad" shirts they were wearing btw dont bother inviting me to your school, drop in the boothill saloon in daytona beach, or better yet drop by the outlaws hq ask for me by name...its boots if your old enough to drink and dont act like a jackass ill buy you a drink and we can discuss this like gentlmen over a beer or you can act like a jackass and ill bounce yer ass to the curb.
i git around a bit if i aint in try the cabbage patch there is alot o wrasslin goin on there course its the women in cole slaw but you might trained fer that...
