![]() | easy... put your free arm (your arm that's closest to his body) over his back, blocking him from rolling. but you gotta do it all pretty quickly. it's all about narrowing down the window of opportunity for escape from your opponent.

![]() | That is the correct counter for the rollout, however, a very nice trick is to try and put your arm over his back, but if you don't get it in time, he rolls PERFECTLY into a kneebar. (uma on the right arm) The same arm that you put over snags his right leg as he rolls over and out of the hold. Simply do a slight adjustment to put your left knee in his hip as you pinch your knees together and use the foot behind the armpit variation (as it seems to work best.) Try this out and you will see how easily you flow into the kneebar. Hope this gives you another variation! |
