![]() | For the first time, the Can-Am Police Fire Games are including a SUBMISSION GRAPPLING DIVISION. This is a big deal, as it is a step towards having this sport in the Police Fire Olympics (Barcelona 2003, Oh Yeah!). The rules are posted on www.arrestling.com and are a pretty good hybrid of BJJ and AbuDhabi style rules. This year the Can-Am games are in Spokane, Washington, and are open to any police officer or firefighter. Submission grappling is scheduled for Tuesday July 16 at 9 AM. Registration Deadline is June 21, so get out and register!!! You might be able to register after June 21 by paying a late fee. More info about the event at http://www.canampolicefiregames.org/2002gms.htm See you all there Stephan Kesting |
