![]() | Rey, Boa Noite! Let's see, my plane lands at LAX at 12:48 on Sunday. By the time I pick up my rental car.. maybe I can make the last hour! LOL! How far is Marina del Rey from LAX? Seriously, I would love to make it by the end of Sunday. Maybe I could just meet Marcelo. Does the walking encyclopedia know "o famoso pescotapa"? ![]() Marc |

![]() | Day 1 was awesome. The combination of Rey and Marcelo along with Andreh and Luis, also black belts, was unbelievable. Brown Belt John Ouano and several purple belts, including our own Hura were helping out also. We saw more moves than you can remember. We started out in the basic guard chokes and variations from there. Then the arm bars from the guard....chokes, sweeps and many variations from these. Day 2 tomorrow. Maybe I should say that the seminar today was just so-so, so that no one comes on down tomorrow so that there are less people, but all the instructors come around to help you to achieve the moves shown, so there is no problem from needins some guidance and not getting it. If you guys were contemplating on attending and did not, you missed Part I but you can still attend Part II. Come on down! |

![]() | Part II Open (Spider) Guard today. Tons of sweeps and takes downs The teaching team of Rey, Marcelo, Andreh Vasconsuelos and John Ouano was another awesome day of instruction. If any of you were contemplating on coming and decided against it, you really missed out. The difference between this instructional seminar and others is the personal attention you get. This team is not satisfied until everyone knows the move shown. The bad thing is that Marcelo is now gone, but the good thing is that he will be back in 3 months, around February. "I'll Be Back" |
