The death penalty has served in our country for generations.
Many of the flimsy, neo "flower power" types are obsessed with the actions, minds, and (perish the though) "romantic ideal" of serial killers, rapists, and criminals in general. The American people love criminals, and raise them to celebrity status when they commit some vile crime whether it be rape, murder, etc. What we focus on is not the victims that this animal has tortured, but upon the criminal and how he feels, how he has grown up, and the "apathy" of not seeing him as a human being. Apathy indeed, the only apathy is for the victims he has slaughtered. But no one cares about them, they only see the murderer. The murderer is alive and in the media. We can follow what he says and feels. The victim is not any of our concern. This dark obsession people have with criminals can be seen in many of the films, books, and entertainment in the country.
A great injustice indeed, so to keep these "flaming liberals" under control, the powers at be have enlisted the use of the death penalty in order to do away witht he "heroes" of the American people. And rightly so.
But perhaps I can offer an even better suggestion. If people cry out that we need to "understand the criminal mind" and not just kill them off, why not kill two birds with one stone? I say that the punishment for these kinds of crimes should be both scientific, and judicial. Take a condemned criminal and give him up to certain scientific researchers. Have them operate and experiment on his brain, etc while he is still alive. Hopefully they can use him as a human "guniea pig" and find out a little more on the criminal psyche, as well as slowly torturing him to death for his crimes.
Many would say this is cruel and unusual, and we will be "acting just as he did!" (oh!)
However this could realistically better both scientific knowledge, and give swift and brutal justice.

Thumbs up

You guys are cruel. I say cut their eyelids off, squirt honey up their ass and stake them out naked on an anthill and be done with it.
