are there any bjj, muay thai or shooto schools in modesto, california? any help would be greatly appreciated. i'll be going there in september.

Yes, BJJ is taught at Paul Mendoza's school, Dynamic Karate. 2900 Standiford in Modesto. David and Daniel Camarillo of Ralph Gracie's school are the cheif influences there.

I do not live in america, but howard answered your question reguarding BJJ. But here are some tips on finding a school in that area.

1. Check phone books
2. Check internet
3. Talk to people in the area
4. Check MA mags with club listings
