Hello everyone, I'm new to this board. I used to be a member of Sherdog's forum, but I grew tired of all their rules! Anyway...I think Pat Miletich is one of the most overrated fighters in MMA. His fights seem to be boring and he's never really impressed me as a fighter. Now I'm not denying that Pat is a tough guy, but he seems like a John Lewis type to me. He seems like he's a better trainer than fighter.

Is he the founder of the Miletich fighting system? If so I would have to agree with you, I havent seen him fight but I have seen other with his style.
Although every fighter is different, One style is usually taught the same techniques.

That would be a sight to see. Could you imagine all the hair pulling tactics?

No, everybody's gonna agree on this, it's Elvis Sinosic. Just because he went the distance with Frank Shamrock doesn't mean he'll go with everybody else! Tito,Tanner, & Babalu all smashed on him

I know Muhummad Ali is a good boxer But. Bruce Lee was constantly training because everybody kept telling him you would one day have to fight Ali. Everyone thought that Ali would win just coz hes taller, 100 lds heavier etc.
I personally think Bruce would have kicked the absolute S*** out of Ali. Dont go crazy at me Its just my opinion.

There's no way Bruce Lee could have taken Ali in a boxing match with the weight, reach, and glove handicapps.
However a straight-out streetfight would be a different story entirely...

In a boxing match Ali would have owned Lee but in a no-gloves NHB style match I like to think Lee would have annihilated him!
Any of you ppl here one of those 'Bruce Lee death Conspirators'? I've heard alot of stuff about how weird the circumstances were in which Bruce died and was just wondering what you ppl think actually caused his death? Last edited by Ice Phoenix; 07-22-2002 at 09:21 AM. |
