Have you ever seen the video of Boztepe/Cheung? Its an EMBARASSMENT to martial arts. It looks like a couple of 4th grade kids flailing at each other on the playground.

Boztepe's "Anti-Grappling" is HILARIOUS. Its the wort sham I've seen in a WHILE.

The only thing you REALLY need to know concerning Boztepe:

When the UFC first arrived he wrote and signed a letter to both the UFC and the Gracies. This letter appeared in Black Belt magazine. He accused the UFC of being fake like "Professional American Wrestling" and agreed to send fighters to fight the Gracies. Of course everyone knows he punked out.

I agree though that anti-grappling is crap! You can't train anti-grappling realistically like you can actual grappling so it'd never work! Emin is a dumb ass and a cowardly one too!

the only Anti-Grappling I can think of is learning to sprawl really really well so u got the guy practically on the floor when he shoots and to learn really good boxing and trappling skills so they cant get close enough for a judo throw or something.

On his web-site, he has some downloadable video clips. One of them is "History of Sifu Emin".

It's pretty funny, particularly the bit where he takes out a knife-wielding assailant (with obligatory woman collapsing in fright in the background as the altercation unfolds), he grounds and pounds some guy in the middle of a Euro-disco dance floor (with obligatory women gazing on in admiration) and then uses Latosa Escrima to pound on a bunch of stick wielding assailants (who conveniently attack him one at a time and have the good grace to keel over after taking one hit).

To everyone here: if you are so strong and hard, why don't you go to see Emin and fight with him? Why you post insults and act tough? You just talk......If you doubt the Wing Chun style, you should go to a seminar (a serious one, please, with real masters!) and just try. I think in martial arts there sould not be stupid things like that, insults and people saying "I can do better", "this style is shit" and so on. Instead of talking, do! Emin and William Cheung don't even care about people like that, who waste their time in posting stupid comments and fake threats......

LOL. People have been challenging Emin for a long time. He challenged the Gracies and they invited him to the UFC and he said that it wasn't even because Rorion used to work as a matchmaker for the UFC. So they said o.k how about fighting in this police department and then he said well my cousin worked as an advisor for the police in another state so it is still not even. (Do either of those excuses really work. You can't fight Royce in the UFC because Rorion used to work as a matchmaker and you can't fight in a police department because a distant cousin worked as an advisor for one in another state? Either way you are fighting him.) Then Boztepe said he no longer wanted to fight Royce but instead he wanted to fight Rorion because he was the real trouble maker of the Gracie family. So they tried to set up a fight and each time there was another excuse and while they were trying to set up a fight and Emin was making excuses on why he couldn't Emin was writing articles about how much the Gracies stink and how he could beat him with both hands stuffed up his nostrils. Then eventually the Gracies get tired of Emins excuses and ask him where he would want to fight and then Emin just refused. Emin has been challenged by no-names and all they get is excues. The only fight Emin has been in was when he jumped his instructor from behind.

Well, actually it is for me....what I said is simply this: instead of posting threats, or even challenging other masters on the net or on tv and stuff like that, why don't people go to the academy and say: "ok I want to try you out, let's have a fair fight" and that's it!

And by the way, I am sure these Gracie/Boztepe threats are bullshit. I know for sure that Emin challenged the gracies personally (in the video) but I never heard of any challenge from the Gracies. I just read about it on internet posts, and everyone can write that. Emin already said it on the same video(and that was a long time ago!), on the net lots of people said/say what they like, it's the easiest thing to do! I am not his student, I practised Wing Chun in an Austin Goh school. I like the Gracies, I like BJJ and Jeet Kune Do. I like martial arts! And I know that Emin is a good person, friendly and kind. Like De Cesaris, Burton Richardson, Dan Inosanto....and I never heard they challenged anyone (exeption made for Emin's tape after receiving insults and threats from some of the Gracies supporters). I think that what I heard about these Emin challenges is bullshit, created by people who like to lie and make problems. That's my opinion, I don't want to say things like "Emin is the strongest of all"or "Rickson would pulverize Emin" and stuff like that, what's the point?
