Default Advice Sought from Mixed-Arts Practitioners

I did 3 years of muay thai (not very well!) and a little Pekiti Tirsia before my current concentration on Illustrisimo. (The changes had to do with available teachers.)

I am female, not very big or heavy (50kg - Ok don't laugh, I KNOW most of you can throw me across the room with one hand!) or strong. Or particularly flexible. My upper body strength to weight ratio is a bit above average for a woman but nothing like a man's. Illustrisimo is great for me and I have decided that it will probably be my principal commitment for the foreseeable future.

What I would like advice on is this: when I have arrived at a critical level of proficiency at Illustrisimo, I will be looking to train in other art forms to enhance or complement the Illustrisimo. I am considering (a) other schools of escrima such as doce pares; (b) something unique and completely different eg capoeira; (c) something that emphasises what escrima does not like empty hands: striking, grappling or clinching eg. tai chi (empty hands) or aikido.

Does anyone who has practised more than one art to proficiency have any advice to offer as to which option he/she thinks is best? Since good teachers may not be available in any particular form, I would really appreciate a ranking of preference and any reasons you might have.

There is no website I know of. The best I can suggest is a web search on the string "kali illustrisimo".

cheers
