And what exactly is your point?
We've hashed this over and over again in numerous threads. MMA styles are simply additional tools to have in your arsenal. I've read many of the articles on Animal's pages.
The only people who would argue these points are the newbies or are just plain idiots. That's why most of the people who continuously post relevent posts agree on these conclusions:
1) Sports competition is not the same as self defense. Although various aspects of sports training are useful on 'da street'.
2) Self Defense is not the same as a fight.
3) Most people who post here crosstrain in other disciplines. That includes reading (and training) the works from people like Sammy Franco, Demi Barbito, Alain Burrese, Geoff Thompson, Peyton Quinn, Tony Blauer, and yes, Marc 'Animal' MacYoung.
4) Retards who troll internet forums and post crap should maybe do a little more reading and a little less posting.
So, what do I think? I think I agree with 'Animal', as I have alluded to in many of my posts.
What else do I think? I think you're trying to start some crap here that just isn't going to fly.
And, one more thing.... if you can't post anything useful, why post at all?
Your new best buddy,
Szczepankiewicz![]()
