OK, I need some help from some of you with encyclopedic knowledge of fighers and events.
Last night at 3 a.m. while feeding my 3 month old daughter, I (through blurry eyes) dug out an old NHB tape and watched Japan Vale Tudo 97. At the very end of the tape, another fight (not JVT97) was tacked onto the end. It was Rumino Sato against a guy I didn't know. The guy threw Sato with a really nice hip throw, and ended up winning by armbar from the mount. The only real info I can give is that he had dark hair and a goatee.. he was not Asian, and he had Carlos Newton in his corner. The guy was a pretty nice fighter.. anyone know who it is? |
