What do you think?
Frank Dux describes elements of his martial philosophy. Photo taken at the 2001 San Jose Gasshuku. Frank Dux leading a movement drill at the 2001 San Jose Gasshuku. Dux Ryu Ninjitsu's self-defense techniques, unlike Kung Fu or Karate, are geared to the individual, thus the individual progress is faster, finding personal self-defense practical for today's threats and builds around one's own strengths and weaknesses. Another factor, separating Dux Ryu Ninjitsu from traditional Martial Arts, is that training is not addressed to fighting only under ideal conditions like in school, but in fluctuating situations and environments. For example, one v. multiple attackers, fighting in the dark, in a crowd or hallway, on slippery ground, such as wet grass, where a fight strategy emphasizing kicking would be rendered useless. I AM POSTING THIS CAUSE I NEVER SEEN THE MAN BEFORE AND EVERYONE SAYS HE IS FAKE SOME SAY HE'S REAL.. I DONT LISTEN TO RUMORS.. JUST WAS CURIOUS ABOUT HIM.. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT HIS STYLE OF FIGHTING.. I HAVE A FRIEND TAKING HIS STYLE OF FIGHTING..

GrdStorm,
Was it Dux himself or one of his fighters that was K.O.'d? I'm not doubting your info at all - just curious about the event (sparring? judo match? exhibition? ....what rules , etc..) I thought Dux had a brain tumor. He must know something if he can make J.C. Van Dumb look like a decent fighter (as fight choreographer: Bloodsport/The Quest) . |

Hey, crazyjoe. How come that pic exists? Bruce and Bolo never got it on in the film I saw. I always thought it was one of the daftest things in the movies..... The greatest Martial Arts flick of all time, and the hero doesn't fight the baddie.
Come on, whats the story? |
